When it comes to selecting papers for publication, there may be no better system than peer review, however, it can fail when an orthodoxy is being challenged. While reviewers are experts in their field, they may have built their reputations developing theories that need to be revised. This presents them, and possibly editors, with a conflict of interest. The more fundamental the challenge, the more they may feel personally threatened. The purpose of this web site is to provide a platform for people who wish to air ideas yet find it difficult to publish, for this or similar reasons.
